Thomas D. Cummins, MD, FACS

Dr. Cummins has been performing cosmetic surgery in the Louisville area for over fifteen years.  He earned his Bachelor and Master’s degrees from the University of Louisville, and continued on to the School of Medicine at the same University.  He completed an Internship and Residency in General Surgery at East Tennessee State University, followed by a Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical College of Ohio.  Dr. Cummins is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons.  He has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors through the years, including receiving the prestigious Alumni Fellow from the University of Louisville in 1992.  Dr. Cummins stays carefully abreast of current improvements and innovations in the field of cosmetic surgery by regularly attending conferences and symposiums held by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and other accredited institutions.  He has himself given lectures during seminars at local hospitals on the latest trends in cosmetic surgery.  Dr. Cummins is very active on patient care committees in many of the hospitals at which he holds privileges.  He takes great pride in his patients, and their referrals are the basis for most of his practice.
